Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosts ribbon cutting for Lincoln Avenue Market

The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Lincoln Avenue Market, 306 Lincoln Ave. in Fox River Grove.

The retail shop specializes in collectibles, vintage items, and resale thrift treasures. The ribbon cutting event marked the official grand opening, although the shop has been delighting customers for the past few months under its new name and ownership.

Formerly known as Peacetime Traders, Lincoln Avenue Market underwent a transformation when John Raviolo, the new owner, took the helm and rebranded the shop. Since then, it has become a destination for those seeking unique finds, antiques, and collectibles in the area.

Nestled in the heart of Fox River Grove, Lincoln Avenue Market boasts an extensive and diverse inventory that includes everything from vinyl records to vintage furniture. Shoppers are invited to embark on a treasure hunt as they peruse the shop’s carefully curated selection of items, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

In addition to their impressive collection of collectibles and vintage goods, Lincoln Avenue Market serves classic Chicago-style hot dogs, and Cedar Crest Ice Cream, making it a true one-stop destination for locals and visitors alike.

Raviolo, a long-time Fox River Grove resident, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception the shop has received since its rebranding.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the community and are excited to continue providing a diverse selection of quality items to our customers,” Raviolo said. “Our ribbon cutting event was a fantastic way to celebrate our official grand opening, and we look forward to serving our community for years to come.”
