The right to criticize Hamas, sympathizers

I am impelled to respond to Marry F. Warren’s letter to the editor published in the Herald on Wednesday, Dec. 27. Let me pose this to Ms. Warren.

Hundreds upon hundreds were in attendance on Oct. 7, another day that will live in infamy, at the innocent rave music festival party in the Negev Desert in Israel. The attendees had to run for their lives many perishing riddled with Hamas bullets and many taken hostage.

Don’t you think that those Israelis and yes, some Americans, your fellow citizens, have a greater right to criticize Hamas and their Palestinian sympathizers, who reportedly participated in the pogrom, for redress of their grievances?

Sadly, let me remind Ms. Warren that many of those innocents not only lost that right of grievance but also their ability to criticize Hamas’ policy of butchery.

My advice to Ms. Warren and those protesting across the nation is to not attend any raves. Hamas and their sympathizers are not your friends.
