Carol Stream Woman’s Club offers scholarship

The Carol Stream Woman’s Club will be awarding one $1,000 scholarship to a female Carol Stream resident who will be graduating high school in 2024 and attending college in the fall of 2024.

Beginning Jan. 15 through March 15, you may complete an application at CSWC.org.

The club is a nonprofit organization with strong community commitments. Scholarship applicants are judged not only on their academic merits but also on their extracurricular and volunteer activities.

The scholarship is intended to honor the student who demonstrates strong academic achievements while balancing extracurricular activities, community involvement and strong leadership.

The finalists will meet with the scholarship chairpersons for a short interview. The winner will be presented their check at the April 16 club meeting at 7 p.m.
