New public sculpture installed next to Warrenville City Hall

The City of Warrenville has a new public sculpture for residents to enjoy, located on the Bob Walters Commons off Manning Avenue, between City Hall and Warrenville Public Library District.

“Tribute” is the creation of local sculpture artist Jen Kresl of Steel Envy in Warrenville.

This one-woman business has been creating one-of-a-kind metal art pieces since 2019.

The city purchased the 8-foot-tall, 1,322-pound sculpture under its aesthetic enhancement program policy approved by city council.

After months of work, Pegasus was ready to be installed Dec. 22.

In a little under an hour, the eye-catching public sculpture was in place and ready for the community to enjoy.
