Glenbard Parent Series speaker will discuss creating the ultimate relationship with kids
On Tuesday, Jan. 23, the Glenbard Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families will present “The Parent Map: Step by Step Solutions to Consciously Create the Ultimate Parent-Child Relationship” with best-selling author and clinical psychologist Dr. Shefali Tsabary.
This program will be presented in two Zoom webinars: at noon and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23. Go to glenbardgps.org for further information and the links to these webinars.
According to Tsabary, wonderful things can be accomplished when a parent awakens to their own inner-child. In Tsabary’s groundbreaking approach, children can serve as mirrors of their parents’ forgotten selves. Tsabary presents a new vision of childhood that helps adults see and respond to their children for who they are and who they can become. Attendees will leave with a plan to create constructive family connections and empower children while transforming themselves.
Tsabary is a clinical psychologist and international speaker. She is an expert in family dynamics and personal development and teaches courses around the globe. She has written four New York Times best-selling books, including “The Conscious Parent” and “The Awakened Family.”
Tsabary will be in conversation with Zen Parent Radio host, author and therapist Cathy Adams. She is the author of “The Self-Aware Parent” and “Zen Parenting: Caring for Ourselves and Others in Challenging Times.”
