Fox Valley women’s Bible study begins winter series

Women of all ages are invited to study “The Holy Spirit in the Bible and Easter” with the Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study for Women this winter.

Participants will be meeting in person on Thursday mornings, from Feb. 1 to March 14 and April 11-25, at St. John Neumann Parish, 2900 E. Main St. in St. Charles. There is also a Zoom only option.

“The Holy Spirit in the Bible” by George Smiga will be the focus for Feb. 1 to March 14. “Easter, Season of Realized Hope” by Catherine Upchurch will be studied on April 11-25.

They will gather at 9 a.m. A speaker will give a reflection on the weekly lesson at 9:15 a.m., followed by small group discussions. The $30 fee includes the study materials. Structured childcare is offered for children age 2 to 6 for a one-time fee of $10 per child. Children under age 2 will stay with their mothers in a special group.

Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study for Women offers a structured, Catholic daytime Scripture study with a spiritually enriching program for preschool children. Study materials present biblical interpretation consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
