Batavia United Way’s ‘Raise Your Hand’ campaign exceeds expectations
The Batavia United Way recently announced that the year-end “Raise Your Hand“ campaign has exceeded all expectations and raised more than $30,000 this year.
Local companies raised their hands to support the Batavia United Way and match residential donations.
The Batavia United Way is grateful to these partners who not only supported this campaign, but also support the organization year-round: Ronald Murphy Dentistry, First State Bank, Advanced Windows & Siding, Batavia Enterprises, Inc., Mike’s Golf Center, and K. Hollis Jewelers, Boutique, and Wine Bar.
The Batavia United Way is grateful to all the supporters who donated this year.
These funds will help support local residents to improve their lives in the areas of health, education, and financial stability by funding over $120,000 in community impact grants to area social service agencies, providing preschool scholarships to qualifying residents, administering the Adopt-A-Family holiday program, supplying emergency rent/utility assistance, providing books for Batavia’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library, as well as a host of other programming.
