Illinois Virtual Schools & Academy launches new full-time virtual option
Illinois Virtual Schools & Academy (IVSA) is excited to announce the reopening of its virtual doors with the introduction of a brand-new Full-Time Academy Program. The program is now open for enrollment, offering students across Illinois a unique and comprehensive online educational experience. IVSA continues to lead the way in providing exceptional online learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of today’s students.
IVSA is the only public provider in the Illinois Virtual Course Catalog. The Illinois Virtual Course Program is a supplemental program that partners with schools to provide Full Service Core, Elective, AP, and Credit Recovery courses for middle and high school students (ISBE).
Illinois Virtual Schools offers a wide range of services to cater to the diverse educational needs of students, including:
• Comprehensive Curriculum: IVSA provides a comprehensive, standards-based curriculum for students in grades 5-12, offering a wide array of courses, from core subjects to electives, to ensure a well-rounded education.
• Full-Time Academy: IVSA’s Full-Time Academy Program is an inclusive, 5-12 online education offering a complete curriculum aligned with state standards. Students can engage in a full-time virtual learning experience.
• Summer School Options: High School and Middle School will offer all Core Courses, World Languages, Career & Technical Courses; Summer Bootcamp for K-5 students in Mathematics & Reading
