The Sports Zone ‘dome’ in Aurora under new ownership

The “Dome” has been the training facility home to the Illinois Hawks Baseball Association and Hawks Fastpitch along with Four Brothers Soccer and several other organizations including local universities, high schools and other sports programs.

IHBA LLC ownership has made it known that they intend to honor the leases of these organizations and are planning several improvements in the months/years to come including new turf, upgraded bathrooms and improved parking, along with other items.

Further, the name of the dome may change in the coming months as the new owners consider naming options and weigh the possibility of a corporate sponsor.

The goal is to transform the existing dome into a highly sought after, visible corner in Aurora.
