Bagpipes, Irish dancers, dogs adorned in green flair and politicians — who doesn’t love a St. Patrick’s Day parade on a warm, sunny March day.

Revelers dressed head to toe in green outfits lined the streets cheering and waving during the 31st annual West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday in Naperville.

Festivities started at Naperville North High School and snaked through downtown to Naperville Central High School.

St. Patrick’s Day parades were aplenty across the suburbs Saturday including in East Dundee, Elmhurst and St. Charles.
