Consider ‘the whole package’ for president

If you vote for Trump, you have to take the whole package, the whole man, not just the bits and pieces you might approve of. You’ll have to take the candidate who has said, if he’s elected, on day one he would be a dictator. You’ll have to embrace the ideas of dictators like Putin and Orban of Hungary. If you believe that Ukraine should be part of Russia, that Putin would stop and not invade the Balkans or Poland, then you’ll be voting for Trump. Free press and judiciary would be a thing of the past. If you have a son or daughter part of the LGBTQ community, they might have to go into hiding. The military could be used to squelch peaceful demonstrations. Unions would be phased out. This is not hypothetical rhetoric, this is what dictators do.

If you’re a logical person and want to vote your conscience, do you really want a dictator as our next president? All presidents have had their strengths and weaknesses. You must weigh the pros and cons of four years of Donald Trump. The world is watching.
