“The community has come to love the boardwalk shops,” said Beth Walker, Executive Director of Batavia Main Street. “They have become a shopping destination and a way for the community to support local entrepreneurs.”

A collaborative partnership between Batavia Main Street and the City of Batavia, the shops were built by volunteer crews, with two of the frames constructed by building trades students from Batavia High School. Opening day activities include a ribbon cutting and live podcast recording by local podcaster Area Code Batavia.

Gerald is invested in the community, and it shows how much enthusiasm they bring to Main Street events. Their presence makes our events better.”

The Gerald Auto Group is proud to return as a Batavia Boardwalk Shops sponsor.
