Elderday Center hosts its spring fundraiser May 16
Elderday Center will host its 34th annual “Celebrating Dementia Champions” on Thursday, May 16. The spring fundraiser supports the dementia-friendly therapeutic adult day program. Through this program, they serve seniors with mild to moderate cognitive, and/or physical challenges.
It will be 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Riverside Receptions and Conference Center, 35 N. River Lane in Geneva. Tickets are $65.
Enjoy a night of delectable cuisine, music, dancing, raffle baskets and more.
Cocktails will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by the dinner, program and dancing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The “Champions” to be honored will be: Bethany Lutheran Church in Batavia; Dementia Friendly Elgin Area Memory Café; Fox Valley Memory Café; and Seed of Nations International Centre.
The master of ceremony will be Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns. There will be live music by Elvis “David Fraccaro” and acoustic guitarist Frankie Smiles Project.
