It has been a tradition of over a decade for the Round Lake Area School District middle school to sponsor recommended students to receive free cosmetology services the morning of their eighth-grade dance. This was the district's first year partnering with Lake County Tech Campus.

"It’s been a Magee tradition for a long time," said Magee School Counselor Amy Taucher, who helped organize the event. "It's something the kids look forward to at the end of the year."
