A love story

Oil Lamp Theater revives “Mary’s Wedding,” Stephen Massicotte’s combination love story and memory play about Mary (Ksa Curry) who, on the eve of her wedding, dreams about her first love, Charlie (Rio Ragazzone). Sondheim salute

Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre concludes its season-long salute to Stephen Sondheim with a revival of “A Little Night Music” from L. Walter Stearns, Eugene Dizon and Libertyville’s Brenda Didier, the creative team responsible for Mercury Theater Chicago’s smash hit “Jersey Boys.” Adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s “Smiles of a Summer Night,” “A Little Night Music” chronicles the romantic entanglements of several couples, including a famous actress and her former lover. Rhinofest returns

Curious Theatre Branch hosts its 35th Rhinoceros Theater Festival showcasing new works from individuals and ensembles. Productions include a remount of “The Good” by co-founder Jenny Magnus that premiered last month in Chicago. Performances take place at these Chicago venues: Facility Theatre, 1138 N.
