Schaumburg to hold 6th annual Business Bike Classic in June

Schaumburg’s 6th annual Business Bike Classic will take place in June as part of the village’s celebration of Bike Month.

Members of businesses and organizations are encouraged to form teams of four and record their mileage for all bicycling activity during the month. Mileage from spinning and stationary bikes also is eligible.

To participate, teams must submit the Business Bike Classic registration form on the village’s website at bit.ly/vosbbc.

Cumulative results will be distributed for teams in the novice, intermediate, and advanced tiers (totaling up to 650 miles, 651-1,500 miles, and 1,501+ miles, respectively). The top three teams in each mileage bracket will earn prizes, and the team with the most miles in the entire competition will be presented with the traveling Business Bike Classic trophy.
