Libertyville library hosts genealogy program June 11

Learn how to find emigration, immigration, and naturalization records of your ancestors during a program entitled “Emigration & Immigration, the Story of Immigrant Ancestors” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 11, hosted by the Cook Park Library.

The program will be offered in person at the library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, as well as online.

Presenter Jacquie Shattner has been actively researching her family’s ancestry since 1996. She volunteered at the Family History Center in Schaumburg for 15 years and teaches genealogy for school districts 211 and 214, as well as at area libraries.
