How you can win a cruise by donating blood in Lombard

People who donate blood in Lombard next week could have a chance to win a cruise trip.

The village will hold its summer blood drive at Yorktown Center shopping mall and at a Main Street church on Tuesday, June 11.

As a form of appreciation, people who donate blood through Versiti will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a cruise. There is also an option to enter the “Save Lives and Sail Sweepstakes” online.

The blood drive will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yorktown’s lower level, outside of the Von Maur department store, and will continue at the First Church of Lombard Fellowship Hall, 220 S. Main St., from 1:30 to 7 p.m.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins also are welcome.
