Daily Herald takes first place in general excellence at Illinois Press Association Awards

The Daily Herald took first place in general excellence among large daily newspapers at the recent Illinois Press Association contest in Bloomington.

The newspaper altogether won nine first-place awards as well as a number of second-, third- and fourth-place honors.
