Nonprofits can apply for grants through Nicor Gas

Nicor Gas is currently accepting grant applications from designated 501(c)(3) community organizations that focus on diversity initiatives, community enrichment programs and basic human needs and energy assistance.

The grant amount is up to $5,000 per organization.

The application deadlines are June 30 for Diversity; July 31 for Community Enrichment; and Aug. 31 for Basic Human Needs and Energy Assistance.

The grants will be awarded to qualified nonprofit organizations that align with Nicor Gas’ strategic giving initiatives.
