Barrington village manager gets 12.5% pay hike

Barrington village board members have voted to give Village Manager Scott Anderson a raise.

The 12.5% increase boosted Anderson’s base pay to $225,000. In addition, he received a $10,000 performance bonus. The increase was approved at the June 10 village board meeting, just days after Anderson celebrated his fifth anniversary with the village.

“It’s hard to believe you have been here for five whole years. You have done a fantastic job for us,” Village President Karen Darch said. “The board is very pleased with all of your work in leading our team.”
