Long Grove-Kildeer Garden Club’s Garden Walk set for July 19

If you enjoy the outdoors, you’ll want to experience some of the area’s finest private gardens at the Long Grove-Kildeer Garden Club's Annual Garden Walk, Friday, July 19. The tour includes four different gardens, followed by an optional lunch at Reed-Turner Woodland Nature Center, 3849 Old McHenry Road in Long Grove.

Attendees meet at the Reed-Turner Woodland Nature Center, 3849 Old McHenry Road in Long Grove, between 9 and 10 a.m., to pick up their information packet.

Participants use their GPS to navigate to the garden sites and tour them at their own pace. The garden tour typically lasts three to four hours. Those participating in the lunch will return to Reed-Turner Nature Center.

The event is open to the public, with tickets priced at $30 with lunch, or $20 without lunch.
