Ecker Center to host seventh annual client art show and reception

The Ecker Center for Behavioral Health is hosting its seventh annual Ecker Center Client Art Show, showcasing the talent and creativity of individuals supported by the center.

It will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the Elgin ArtSpace Loft Gallery, 51 S. Spring St. in downtown Elgin.

The Ecker Center Client Art Show provides a platform for individuals receiving services, or who have received services in the past at the Ecker Center to express themselves through various art forms, including paintings, collage, drawings, and more.

This annual exhibition not only highlights the artistic abilities of the clients but also serves as a testament to the power of creativity in the healing process.

The Ecker Center Client Art Show will kick off with an artist reception, offering attendees the opportunity to meet the creators behind the artwork and learn about their inspirations and journeys.

The event is free and open to the public, encouraging community members to come together in support of mental health awareness and creative expression.

The Ecker Center for Behavioral Health's mission is to optimize the well-being of individuals and communities through the delivery of accessible, comprehensive and quality behavioral health care which includes prevention, education and intervention.
