Join Schaumburg mayor for village’s Bike to Work Day June 26

Setting the example to those who live and/or work in Schaumburg to consider cycling as an alternative mode of transportation, Mayor Tom Dailly will be “Biking to Work” on Wednesday, June 26.

Kicking off at 9 a.m., residents are invited to join Dailly on his ride beginning at Meineke Recreation Center and ending at Atcher Municipal Center.

All participants must sign a liability waiver to join in the activity. Registration is not required.

The village of Schaumburg recognizes June as Bike Month.

Schaumburg has more than 95 miles of bicycle paths, 1,000 bicycle parking racks and locker spaces, bicycle racks on village trolleys, bicycle parking at the Metra station and the Northwest Transportation Center, a community-based bicycle club, and connections with each of its neighbors throughout the Chicago region.
