Free Tuesdays in the Park concerts will be back next week in Northbrook

The Northbrook Park District’s free concert series “Tuesdays in the Park,” which every summer draws thousands of spectators, will be back starting next week with a spectacular lineup of musical entertainment sure to please the whole family.

Concertgoers are invited to bring chairs and picnic blankets to lounge on the grass at Village Green Park in downtown Northbrook and enjoy performances spanning all genres, from blues to country, rock ’n roll, 80s tunes and current hits.

Each Tuesday concert will begin with entertainment for the little ones followed by a performance for all ages — and everyone is invited to put on their dancing shoes and show off their moves!

“ Every summer, we strive to bring in a unique lineup of new and returning artists that represent a wide variety of styles but still have something great to offer all ages of patrons and their families and guests,” said Kyle Gyondla, event organizer and theater technical specialist for the park district. “We’re looking forward to another great year of jams from all genres.”
