Wheaton-Naperville Infant Welfare planning its annual golf and bridge fundraiser
The Wheaton-Naperville Chapter of the Auxiliary of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago is preparing its annual “Diamonds Are ‘Fore’ Ever” Golf and Bridge Outing, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton.
This fundraising event contributes to the mission of raising funds and providing volunteer support to the Infant Welfare Society’s of Chicago Angel Harvey Family Health Center.
Golf enthusiasts and bridge aficionados alike are invited to join in a day of friendly competition and philanthropy. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on the green or around the bridge table, all while supporting a noble cause.
The Golf and Bridge Fundraiser will feature a variety of activities and opportunities for participants to engage with one another, including:
• Golf tournament: Tee off for a cause and compete for prizes in the nine-hole scramble golf tournament. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out, all skill levels are welcome to participate.
• Bridge tournament: Test your strategic prowess in our bridge tournament. Partner with friends or make new ones as you enjoy a morning of friendly bridge play.
• Silent auction: Bid on an array of raffle baskets containing items generously donated by local businesses and supporters. From lovely home decor to exciting experiences, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Angel Harvey Family Health Center, operated by the Infant Welfare Society in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, ensuring that underserved children and their families receive the health care support and resources they need to thrive.
The Wheaton-Naperville Chapter is one of seven chapters that comprise the Auxiliary of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago.
The Auxiliary was established in 1913. This past year, the Wheaton-Naperville Chapter, established in 1957, donated more than $50,000 to the auxiliary to support the Angel Harvey Family Health Center.
Registration for the Golf and Bridge Fundraiser will open mid-July.
