What is Lake Zurich’s comprehensive plan?
Draft goals and objectives of Lake Zurich’s new comprehensive plan will be presented and discussed at 7 p.m. Wednesday before the village’s planning and zoning commission.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting at village hall, 70 E. Main St. It also will be livestreamed on Facebook and LZTV or at lakezurich.org.
The plan addresses key community issues and guides future development for the next 10 to 15 years. Issues include development and growth, land use, community character, economic development, and environmental conservation.
A planning team called Lake Zurich Together has been applying takeaways from community visions and analysis of existing conditions to develop a draft plan and main objectives.
