Steer GOP back to conservative values

An open letter to the Kane County Republican Committee:

Thoughts and prayers for the selling of your collective souls to Donald Trump, who thinks America is not great. Your committee has made the decision to follow someone who hates America, our police, our justice system, our veterans, women, gay folks etc.

Since your committee embraces someone who is so inherently unhinged, might you consider dropping the term “Republican,” from the name of your committee, as it is anything but conservative? Abandoning traditional conservative principles and love for America and flag to follow an inciter of insurrection and multiple convicted felon is an affront to a United States of America.

We patriots for democracy pray that your committee will somehow come to the conclusion that Donald Trump, like Melania, really doesn’t care about you, as he said himself at his most recent Las Vegas Rally, “I don’t care about you, I just want your votes.” That, in between incoherent rambles about sharks and boats and electric batteries.

Please come to your senses and encourage other members of your party to wake up and expel your candidate for a true conservative candidate. If not, then at the very least, drop the name “Republican” for something that would better reflect your party’s unhinged agenda.

It is beyond obvious that it is Trump that has weaponized your own party against achieving a more perfect union. The true stain is Donald John Trump.

I pray that your party will someday fly right again. Meanwhile please know that America is, always has been and always will be great.
