Chicago Dogs extend team win streak to five games after taking opener in Fargo, 8-4

Following a series sweep against the Winnipeg Goldeyes, the Dogs traveled to Fargo, North Dakota, for a three-game series against the RedHawks.

The Dogs won their fifth straight game, 8-4 Friday night.

Brooks Gosswein started the game on the mound for the Dogs in the series opener. Gosswein had been extremely successful in his two latest starts, having allowed just one earned run over 10⅔ innings pitched.

Consistent pitching continued for Gosswein against Fargo, as he pitched six innings, allowing just two earned runs, while striking out six batters. Gosswein’s strong outing earned himself his third win of the season.
