Cars, coffee draw a crowd to South Barrington

Auto aficionados enjoyed some coffee with their cars Sunday morning in South Barrington.

The Calibre Coffee Car Show at The Arboretum of South Barrington featured more than 100 cars, from a 50s-era Studebaker to a current Tesla and every decade in between.

Iylin Latic of Schaumburg was there photographing the cars for his Instagram.

“I love to do this,” he said. “It’s a pretty chill environment here and everyone seems to know each other, so it’s cool.”

Latic, who works in the Arboretum, was shooting most of his photos from ground level as he checked out the show.

“I just love low angles, it makes cars look so much more aggressive,” he said.

Calibre’s next show is scheduled for July 20. “Bimmers & Beans” is presented by the Windy City BMW car club.
