Seven-run fourth powers Dogs past Sioux Falls

The Chicago Dogs scored seven runs in the fourth inning and beat Sioux Falls 8-4 on Monday.

After Sioux Falls scored 4 runs in the top of the inning, the Dogs answered with seven to move ahead 8-4.

Dusty Stroup’ had a bases-loaded single to score Nick Novak. Nick Dalesandro was hit by a pitch, allowing Antonio Barranca to score. Brantley Bell drove in the Dogs’ third run of the inning with a sacrifice fly that scored Jesus Lujano.

Jacob Teter singled home two runs. Johnni Turbo singled to center field, allowing two runners to score.

Lukas Galdoni threw three scoreless innings to earn the save and secure the Dogs’ win in the series opener.
