Man charged with suburban liquor store burglaries

A man has been charged with participating in a burglary ring that targeted liquor stores in DuPage and Cook counties.

The Illinois attorney general’s office announced charges Friday against Isiah Doss, 25, of Chicago. A statewide grand jury indicted him in early May on three counts of burglary and he was arraigned Friday.

Suspects charged in Riverwoods, Lincolnshire gas station burglaries

The charges are being prosecuted in DuPage County.

The indictment accuses Doss of burglarizing a store on 151st Street in Orland Park on Nov. 27, 2021; and stores on Greenleaf Avenue in Elk Grove Village and Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn on Dec. 2, 2021.

Doss currently is serving prison sentences in a 2022 gun case out of Lake County and a 2022 burglary case out of Cook County, according to state and Lake County records.
