Elburn church installs new minister

The Community Congregational Church of Elburn has called the Rev. David Fraccaro as their part-time minister.

Rev. Fraccaro became an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, serving congregations in New York and New Jersey, as well as a human rights volunteer for the United Church of Christ in Kenya, Bolivia, East Timor, and the United Nations.

Through this work, he has developed several nationally recognized programs to build bridges of understanding, trust, and cooperation that have been replicated in diverse communities across the country.

In addition to being the new part-time minister with Elburn Community Congregational, he also serves as pastor with Rollo Congregational United Church of Christ, and is the executive director of the national nonprofit Lumunos.

Rev. Fraccaro lives with his family in Batavia, and loves to bike and sing the songs of Elvis at local breweries around the Fox River Valley.

Community Congregational Church at 100 E. Shannon St. has worship on Sundays at 9 a.m.

Join the church in welcoming the new minister.
