Mundelein book signing is in the history books

In the light of the history book "Mundelein" celebrating 15 years since being published, the Mundelein Historical Commission hosted a book signing event on June 15 at the Mundelein Heritage Museum. The event included the author of the book "Mundelein" Shawn Killackey along with six of his fellow author friends.

There were Gail Kahover ("Mundelein Seminary"), Eric Feinendegen ("The FEIN-er Things"), Christa Lawrence ("Trouble Brewing for Thomas"), Warren B. Hall ("Missing Pieces"), Joyce Becker Lee ("Casualties"), Dr. Cory Franklin ("The COVID Diaries") and also copies of Jim Baumann's "Grammar Moses" were on hand.

Inside the Heritage Museum was local resident John Hynds who did a presentation on the artifacts that he has recovered from Diamond Lake over the years and are currently on display at the museum.

The weather was beautiful, signatures were given and everyone had a great time.
