McAlister's Deli opening Monday in Downers Grove

Fast casual chain McAlister's Deli will open a new location Monday in Downers Grove.

The restaurant known for its handcrafted sandwiches, fresh salads, giant stuffed spuds and McAlister’s Deli Famous Sweet Tea will open its doors at 10:30 a.m. at 933 Ogden Ave.

Ahead of Monday’s opening and to show appreciation for those who serve the community, McAlister’s is inviting first responders, medical professionals, active military personnel, veterans, teachers, PTO members and truck drivers to enjoy a complimentary meal from noon to 2 p.m. Friday. Valid badge or ID is required.
