Huntley church hosts vacation Bible school

Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley is hosting the “Start the Party, Celebrate the Good News” vacation Bible school on July 8-12.

The program is designed for children in all age ranges from 3-year-old preschoolers who are potty-trained to those who will entering the fifth grade. It will be from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Friday at the church, 10805 Main St.

Children will enjoy praise, worship and singing. They will develop their understanding of the many teachings of Jesus and will have fun both indoors and outdoors, too, by making crafts, playing games, and having snacks.

Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Mark Boster and Pastor Ryan Mackey, has served the Huntley community for over 20 years.
