Amy’s Driving School gears up for a smooth ride with grand opening in Cary

The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the June 27 grand opening of Amy’s Driving School, 395 Cary-Algonquin Road, Unit H, in Cary. Owned and operated by Amy Markowski, the new driving school aims to provide top-tier driver education to the community.

Markowski brings a wealth of experience to her new venture. Having previously worked with another local driving school for 5 years, she has honed her skills in driver education and developed a strong reputation for her commitment to student safety and success. Additionally, as a permanent building substitute at the Cary Junior High School the last couple of years, she is well-known and well-liked by many students and families in the area.

Driven by her passion for educating young drivers and ensuring their safety on the road, Markowski decided to launch her own driving school.

“Our teen driver education program is designed to provide comprehensive instruction to prepare young drivers for a lifetime of safe driving,” Markowski said. “Our program includes classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and defensive driving techniques.”

Amy’s Driving School provides classroom and behind-the-wheel training, ensuring students gain the hands-on experience necessary to become safe and confident drivers.

Classes are set to begin on July 8. While online registration will soon be available, interested individuals can currently register by emailing Amy directly at amysdrivingschoolcary@gmail.com.
