Glen Ellyn Park District hosts ‘Family Campout Under the Stars!’
Calling all families! Get ready for a night of fun and adventure under the stars at the Family Campout in Maryknoll Park.
This event will start at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 19, to 8 a.m. Saturday, July 20. It offers a chance for families to create lasting memories together.
The evening begins with access to the park's splash park, perfect for cooling off on a summer night. Families can then putt their way through the mini golf course before embarking on a guided nature walk, led by knowledgeable park staff.
As twilight settles, enjoy a special movie night under the stars featuring a family-friendly flick, complete with hot dogs, pizza, soft drinks, and snacks.
Bring your own tent and sleeping bags (camping gear is not provided) and get ready for a cozy night's sleep under the stars. In the morning, a continental breakfast will be served in the Maryknoll Clubhouse, the perfect way to fuel up for the day ahead.
The registration fee is per tent is $40 for residents or $50 for nonresidents.
