2024 St. Charles Scarecrow Weekend applications now available

St. Charles’ Scarecrow Weekend, presented by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will take place Oct. 11-13 in downtown St. Charles.

The St. Charles Business Alliance now is accepting scarecrow applications, which can be found online at scarecrowfest.com/scarecrowcontestapplication.

Completed contest applications may be mailed or dropped off at the St. Charles Business Alliance, 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174. The submission deadline is Sept. 15.

Prizes for each given category are as follows: Mega/Mechanical Category — first place receives $500, second place receives $350, and third place receives $250; for Business Category, Clubs/Not-for-Profit/Schools Category, and Individual Category — first place receives $200, second place receives $150, and third place receives $100. Voting will take place in person during event hours.
