Brothers killed in Lindenhurst crash identified
Two boys killed late Friday in a crash in Lindenhurst have been identified as Antony Tiscareno, 16, and his brother Alonso, 11, both of Wadsworth.
Autopsy results showed both died from blunt force injuries as a result of the single-vehicle crash, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office. The brothers’ address is in Wadsworth but has a Zion mailing address, authorities said.
The boys were passengers in a car that hit a tree at about 11:37 p.m. in the 1700 block of Grand Avenue, police said. Two other occupants, a 20-year-old man from Zion and a 20-year-old man from Beach Park, were hospitalized. One is in critical condition, and the condition of the other is unknown, police said.
According to police, the vehicle was traveling east on Grand Avenue when it left the roadway and struck a tree. Police found the vehicle on fire with the four occupants trapped inside.
