Applications open through Aug. 9 for Naperville Labor Day Parade

Join the Jaycees as they celebrate the strength of Naperville's workforce by participating in the Labor Day Parade on Monday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m.

Called the largest in the state of Illinois, the Naperville Jaycees Labor Day Parade has been a favorite for generations of area residents.

Attended annually by tens of thousands, this event which recognizes trade and labor organizations, city employees, schools and local businesses is a great way to not only say “thank you” to American workers and their families but also the community at large.

This year’s parade will honor the late Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senator, Al DeGeeter’s lifelong commitment to service above self. In his memory, the Naperville Jaycees will be collecting donations along the parade route for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

The Last Fling Labor Day Parade starts its journey through downtown Naperville at 10 a.m.

For further information, to view a map of the 2024 parade route, to register, or to become a sponsor, visit lastfling.org/ParadeEntry prior to Friday, Aug. 9.

The Naperville Jaycees are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees of the Last Fling.

As in prior years, the organization is working closely with Naperville Emergency Response Teams to ensure the most up-to-date security measures are instituted in effort to achieve a secure and enjoyable Labor Day Weekend for volunteers, participants and patrons.
