Punishing non-parents
In light of Republican vice-presidential nominee J.D. Vance’s recent statement about non-parents voting rights, “doesn’t this mean that non-parents don’t have as much of a voice as parents? Doesn’t this mean that parents get a bigger say in how our democracy functions? Yes, absolutely.” Mr. Vance, you may want to check in with the Founding Fathers and review the Declaration of Independence as Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin would like a word with you.
They clearly stated, “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” It goes without saying, Mr. Vance, but you do need to also realize that this right applies to women as well.
