Artist Robyn Mineko Williams examines her Japanese American lineage and her family’s experience being incarcerated during World War II as part of a multidisciplinary performance titled “Hisako’s House,” which includes live performance, documentary film, dance, original music and interviews. The performance, by Robyn Mineko Williams and Artists (RMW & A), takes place at 1S140 Pine Lane, Lombard, where Williams’ grandmother, Nancy Hisako Nishimura lived for decades. $40, $80 for the performance followed by a family meal. InDogCision 2024
