Marklund Day School welcomes students for 2024-25 school year

It’s a new school year at Marklund Day School, and the school hallways in Elgin, Bloomingdale and Geneva are buzzing with laughter and excitement as students arrive.

The students jumped right back into the flow with their favorite teachers and friends.

Marklund Day School is a non-public, Illinois State Board of Education-approved school.

It offers life skills and multi-needs programs to students with autism, multiple disabilities and complex medical needs.

Marklund Day School provides high-quality individualized educational and vocational programming for students, age 3 through 21, with mild to complex disabilities, including autism.

It successfully transitions students back to their home school district based upon academic, social, behavioral and medical progress.
