Memory care seniors encourage animal adoption

Residents at a Glenview memory care community helped promote animal adoption when they visited a local animal shelter.

The residents at Emerald Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, delivered handcrafted bandanas to encourage animal adoption at Border Tails Rescue in Northbrook

“Many of our seniors are lifelong animal lovers,” said Latisha Coolidge, life engagement director for Emerald Place. “This was a wonderful way for them to reminisce about their animal babies while helping the local animal shelter.”

Emerald Place is at 1879 Chestnut Ave. Glenview.
