Winter Wonderland comes to Palatine Senior Center Nov. 15-16
The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council will host its “Winter Wonderland,” full of gifts for everyone on your list, from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 15 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Palatine Township Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road, in Palatine.
Walk into the Winter Wonderland full of homemade cookies and baked goods, sold by the pound, perfect for friends, neighbors, teachers and hostess gifts. Mugs full of goodies for $5 and $10, and gift baskets from $10 to $25 will be wrapped and ready to give.
Several wonderful crafters have made beautiful and fun items and will be highlighting their talents with items such as wreaths, pillows, hand painted ornaments, handmade wine bags, resin specialties, fleece and crocheted blankets, and so much more. Quilters have created gorgeous handmade pot holders, bowl cozies, table runners, quilted wall hangings and special baby quilts, all sure to impress.
Holiday decor will be abound, and many other handmade items such as crochet hats, fashion yarn scarves and ornaments will be available as well. Jewelry and purses will be ready to give to friends, family, or keep for yourself.
Drop the kids off at school and come on over Friday morning, or head over on Saturday as you’re doing errands throughout the day. Start making your list now and come visit the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council’s Winter Wonderland.

The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council provides programs and services which support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community.
