Get festive with Lombard’s Jingle Bell Jubilee, senior luncheon and holiday contest

‘Tis the season to be jolly! The Lombard Park District has many activities to help you and your family celebrate the holiday season.

The annual Jingle Bell Jubilee event kicks off the festivities on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Lilacia Park, 150 S. Park Ave. Join the lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m., followed by visits with Santa Claus, hot chocolate, cookies, giveaways, and more.

Another favorite tradition returns this year: Jingles’ Holiday House Decorating Contest! Families can participate by decorating their homes, which will be featured on the Holiday Lights Map.

This allows the community to enjoy a festive drive-through experience while voting for their favorite displays. Prizes will be awarded to the winning houses.

A downloadable map will be available on lombardparks.com starting Friday, Dec. 6. Thanks to sponsor State Farm-Dave Steinbach for supporting this event!

Register now to secure your spot! Lunch is only $10 for Lombard residents. The holiday buffet features sliced turkey, glazed baked ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, cranberry relish, rolls, and dessert. The Chorus of DuPage will provide holiday music.
