Carriage rides, sled dog demos add fun to Vernon Hills Winter Fest
A pack of huskies was a crowd-pleaser as Century Park Pavilion came alive Saturday during Winter Fest in Vernon Hills.
Visitors could enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, dog sledding demonstrations, and toasted s’mores over the fire during the free park district event held against the background of the winter sledding hill.
