Shamrocks and Smiles: St. Patrick’s Day charity celebration supports individuals with disabilities and recreation scholarships
The 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner fundraiser is coming from 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Rolling Meadows Park District Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive, and you can sign up now to sponsor this great cause.
The event features Irish dancers from Hogan Irish Dance Academy; free wine tasting from d’Vine Wine and Gifts; a meal of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, chicken, Irish soda bread; and dessert. The event also includes a photo booth and drinks included featuring Jameson, beer and seltzer.
Sponsorship levels include Presenting, Shamrock, Pot-of-Gold, Blarney Stone, Promenade and Lucky with the opportunity to be featured in marketing materials for SLSF and Rolling Meadows Park District. Complimentary or discounted dinner tickets are also included, depending on the chosen tier.

Attendees will have a chance to test their luck in a variety of raffles and games, including a 50/50 Split the Pot, Gift Bag Raffle, Treasure Chest Raffle and Heads and Tails.
SLSF is the fundraising arm of Northwest Special Recreation Association. NWSRA is an extension of 17 park districts in the Northwest suburbs, providing recreational opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. NWSRA offers special events, trips, leisure education, inclusion services, athletics programs, weekly programs and much more.
The Rolling Meadows Park District Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to securing donations for open space, parks and recreational facilities and activities, ensuring everyone in the community has access to the benefits of recreation.
