Fourth-graders create valentines for York Township seniors
Ann Noll’s fourth-grade class at Stella May Swartz Elementary School in Oakbrook Terrace recently made Valentine’s Day cards for seniors. The cards will be distributed to seniors at the Senior Center Valentine’s Day party on Friday, Feb. 14, at the York Township Hall, 1502 S. Meyers Road in Lombard.
“I would like to extend a big hearted thank you to Mrs. Noll’s 4th grade class for thinking about our seniors and wanting to make their Valentine’s Day special,” York Township Supervisor John W. Valle said. “The cards will be a nice surprise for those attending the Valentine’s Day party and are sure to bring a smile to many faces, especially those who have lost a loved one this year.”
